Meeting House

The women's meeting place UTAMARA e.V. offers accommodation and conference facilities for women and girls in line with the aims of the association. The premises can be used for seminars, workshops, further education, exhibitions, international meetings, events, etc.

Location

Our meeting centre is located in the small community of Kasbach-Ohlenberg, which lies in the Rhine valley on the edge of the Westerwald forest between the historic half-timbered towns of Linz (see: www.linz.de) and Erpel (see: www.herrlichkeit-erpel.de). In the surrounding area there are many places of interest which are good destinations for excursions: the bridge of Remagen and the peace museum, the Drachenfels, the Erpeler Ley, the beautiful Kasbachtal.

The cities of Bonn in the north and Neuwied and Koblenz in the south can be reached by car and train in about 30 minutes. The nearest train stations are Erpel (15 min walk) and Linz am Rhein (25 min walk).

Premises

We have accommodation for groups of up to 20 people. For daytime events, our premises can accommodate up to 50 people.

The bedrooms are equipped with 3 to 8 beds, shower and WC. As common rooms, a lounge and dining area, a seminar room, relaxation room and children's playroom are available. The seminar room is equipped with flip chart, beamer, screen and movable walls. WLAN is available. The garden and terrace can also be used for barbecues, for example.

As a self-catering house, a large communal kitchen is available to everyone. For groups, the team organises the necessary shopping and provides the desired food in advance. So you can fully concentrate on the event.

If required, we will gladly arrange for external catering from the region.

If desired, we will support you in organizing your event, e.g. by providing childcare, educational and seminar services or organizing excursions. Please give us some time for preparation and let us know your wishes at least four weeks before the event.

Terms of use and prices (status Jan. 2020)

Weekend package - from Friday evening to Sunday evening

2 nights per person: 50,- €

2 nights for fellow women: 40,- € *

Weekdays

1 overnight stay per person: 25,- €

1 overnight stay for fellow women: 20,- € *

For groups we charge a deposit of € 300,-. The deposit will be settled or refunded upon departure of the group. If the premises are not left clean, we charge a cleaning fee of up to € 100,-.

*Women of UTAMARA, children and needy women can use overnight accommodation at a reduced rate. Please contact us.
